v1.0.17 — first release
- A card anyone can read. EmergencyAid opens straight onto an emergency card on the watch, with no unlock step, so a responder or a bystander can read it without help.
- Identity: your name, gender, age, weight, height and blood type, taken from your Garmin profile or typed by you (Use Garmin Profile), plus a home address and a contact number with a call-now QR code.
- Vital Info: critical allergies (29 to tick, plus your own), critical conditions (19, plus your own), medications, important notes and medical devices (15, plus your own).
- Emergency contacts: two contacts and a main doctor, each with two phone numbers and a call-now QR code that a responder scans with their own phone. Numbers are tidied and shown with your country’s calling code.
- Live Vitals: heart rate, sensor temperature and blood oxygen, as far as your watch records them, each with its latest reading and a 24-hour graph.
- Location: your country, Plus Code, coordinates and altitude from the GPS, with a QR code that opens your position in Google Maps.
- Local Help: 1,281 emergency and service numbers for 227 countries and territories, built into the app and chosen from your position, with Australian state and territory numbers. It works with no connection.
- A glance with your blood type, the number of alerts and an ICE marker, without showing any detail.
- Settings on the watch and in the Garmin Connect IQ app, a Show switch for every section, Boost backlight and Auto-cycle.
- A three-day free trial, then a one-time purchase. Your details stay on the watch: the app makes no network calls.
- 69 supported watches, from Forerunner, fēnix, Venu, epix, Instinct 3 AMOLED, Approach and MARQ to vívoactive, Descent, Enduro and D2.
